In 1822, Monsieur Popelin, a pharmacist, set up a shop devoted to olive oil in Paris and A L'Olivier was born. Today, the family owned company still makes amazing olive oil, along with high quality vinegars and nut oils. A combination of intensely fruity, acidic raspberry and vinegar, this product is the ideal way to deglaze duck breasts, veal or chicken. Blend with hazelnut or olive oil in a salad with fennel, arugula and roasted hazelnuts. You can even stir it into sparkling water for a nonalcoholic cocktail.
