In 1822, Monsieur Popelin, a pharmacist, set up a shop devoted to olive oil in Paris and A L'Olivier was born. Today, the family owned company still makes amazing olive oil, along with high quality vinegars and nut oils. This tomato basil vinegar works very well with steamed fish, grilled poultry, and a variety of cheeses, especially sheep's milk. Use it to deglaze white meats, like pork or veal, or on grilled fish.
