There is pimento cheese, and then there is pimento cheese. This is the latter version, and it is the creation of Edouardo Jordan, the two time James Beard award winning chef at Salare, JuneBaby & Lucinda. We are so proud to carry it in our deli, and needless to say, it's a staff favorite! Chef Jordan combines his own pickled pimentos with sharp cheddar to create a spread that is difficult to stop eating. It's great served traditionally with a saltine cracker, but can be used in a multitude of other ways...on a burger, on grilled bread with heirloom tomatoes or an egg...the list goes on. Get some, you won't regret it.
