This pasteurized version of Brie de Meaux has a white velvety rind with a straw-colored paste. It's as close to real Brie as you can get without going to France. Aromas are slightly sweet and smoky, with hints of mushrooms. Flavors are rich and buttery, finishing with the pleasant hint of bitterness that is characteristic of a classic French brie.
