Karuna Tanzania 70%, 60g

Located in South Tyrol, a German-speaking region in Northern Italy, Karuna uses ethically grown, organic fine cocoa beans from Latin America, Asia, and Africa to produce some of the best single-origin bean-to-bar chocolate we’ve tasted. This organic fine flavor cocoa grows in the Kilombero valley in the Morogoro region, close to the Udzungwa National parc. The company Kokoa Kamili ferments and dries the cocoa from about 2000 farmers in the area. This chocolate has notes of red fruits, green apple, a nice acidity and notes of caramel and coffee.
