This is real Provolone. Imported from the Lombardy region of northern Italy, it is made with raw cow's milk that has been aged 6 to 7 months. Flavors are intensely piquant, strong, nutty and fruity. Before we cut it down to size, this wheel of cheese looks like a giant head of garlic that weighs about 50 pounds. Perfect for everything from sandwiches to pizza to antipasti to lasagna.
