Rustichella d'Abruzzo Penne Rigate, 500g

Appreciated by chefs and home cooks alike, Rustichella d'Abruzzo has been making artisan Italian pasta since 1924. One of Italy's most popular cuts, penne rigate has a wider tube than the original penne ("quills"), but rigate ("with ridges") on the outside. This cut is great with virtually all sauces, but ideal for with ground meat, game or vegetables so that the sauce is trapped in the middle and on the points. It's also a great choice for making pasta salad.
