Villa Manodori produces premium extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars under the guidance of Massimo Bottura, the chef and owner of three-star Michelin restaurant Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy. Named the world’s best restaurant in 2018, it is the only Italian restaurant ever to hold that title. This balsamic vinegar is made from Trebbiano grapes and red wine vinegar and aged for nine years in barrels made from Vignola cherry wood. Thick and viscous, the balsamic has a refined balance between sweet and tart. Excellent as a glaze for pork and duck, or drizzled over fruit-based desserts.
